Svolta is a small senior in-house team. Engineers who have run agents under load, analysts who have run an operation, customer engineers who have carried the pager. If your last role was your first real shipping role, we are not the right next step.
The work is real client engagements, not a body shop. Each engagement starts with a free Consultation, runs through the Audit, and continues into a build the same team ships and supports. You are named on the SOW, on the calls, and in the handover. The people you work with on Monday are the same people who scoped the engagement on Friday.
We hire for shape more than for title. If the role is a partial match, send the note anyway.
What we are hiring for.
Each role is a real opening. Apply via the email link on the role. A human on the team replies, usually the same day.
Founding AI engineer
Own end-to-end agent builds inside client environments. Evals, retrieval, integration, runbooks. You embed with the client engineering team, ship the system, and hand it back so they can operate it without us.
5+ years shipping production systems, at least one of them an AI/ML system that ran under real load. Strong opinions about evals and what 'production-ready' actually means. Comfortable in a regulated environment and on a customer call.
Process design lead, Business Analyst
Run the Audit end-to-end. Embed with the client operation over Google Meet, interview the operators, time the handoffs, baseline the ROI, and produce the ranked, costed plan the engineering team builds against.
Background in operations, BA work, or process design at a mid-market or enterprise scale. Comfortable interviewing operators, reading SQL, and building a defensible ROI model. Has seen AI pilots fail and can say why.
Customer engineering
Live at the seam between Svolta and the client team. Run ongoing coverage engagements: monitor evals, ship model upgrades against golden sets, take the pager when a production incident hits. Embed during the build so handover is a formality.
SRE or platform background with hands-on ML platform experience. You have taken the pager before and want to take it again, in a smaller and more senior team. Comfortable explaining a regression to a non-engineer.
